RINDGE, N.H. (October 15, 2018) – Franklin Pierce University men's soccer junior midfielder Noam Kolakofsky (Achziv, Israel) was chosen as the Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Week it was announced Monday afternoon by the league offices. This is the second straight week he has received this honor.
Kolakofsky started and played in both Ravens wins this week helping Franklin Pierce to achieve a five-match winning streak. He finished the week with one goal, one assist, and three points, including the game-winning goal during the 70th minute of the 1-0 shutout upset of #7 SNHU on Friday.
Since returning from injury, Kolakofsky has been a boost to the Ravens offense. He has carried the load on offense ranking first on the team in goals (5), points (11), shots (37), shots on goal (20) and game-winning goals (3) in eight games while helping lead to his squad to a 5-3 mark. Without Kolakofsky, FPU stumbled to a 1-4 record with a 0.60 goals for average (three goals) compared to the 1.38 average (11 goals) with him on the pitch.
The Ravens look to run their win streak to six games on Wednesday when they host NE10 opponent Merrimack College at 7:00 p.m.
