RINDGE, N.H. (December 10, 2018) – Franklin Pierce University women's basketball freshman forward Izzy Lipinski (Farmington, Conn.) has been named the Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Week Monday afternoon by the league offices. It is the first time this season Lipinski has earned Rookie of the Week honors.
Lipinski helped lead the Ravens to a 1-1 week, She started and appeared in both games averaging 16.0 points, 11.0 rebounds, 4.0 on the offensive end, 2.5 blocks and 2.0 assists per game while shooting 54.5% from the hardwood. Lipinski also tallied the first two double-doubles of her collegiate career. At Merrimack, Lipinski scored a career-high 18 points and matched a personal-best with 12 boards (seven offensive) to go with three blocks. In the win at Felician, Lipinski chipped in 14 markers and snagged 10 caroms.
The Ravens travel to Southern New Hampshire University on Saturday for a 1:30 p.m. tip-off.
