RINDGE, N.H. (February 11, 2019) – Franklin Pierce University women's basketball freshman forward Izzy Lipinski (Farmington, Conn.) has been named the Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Week Monday afternoon by the league offices. It is the second time this season Lipinski has earned Rookie of the Week honors.
Lipinski averaged 20.0 points, 9.5 rebounds - 3.5 offensive, 4.0 assists and 2.5 steals per game while shooting 54.5% (18-of-33) from the hardwood over two starts for the Ravens this past week. She recorded her fifth double-double of the season scoring a career and game-high 25 points at home versus Saint Michael's on Saturday. Lipinski corralled a contest-best 11 rebounds - four on the offensive end, handed out a personal-high matching six assists and shot 64.7% (11-of-17) from the field.
On the season, Lipinski leads the Ravens in rebounds per game (7.7), steals per game (1.7), blocks per game (1.1) and field goal percentage (49.0%) while ranking second in scoring, 11.9 points per game.
The Ravens remain at home on Wednesday for a conference showdown with Merrimack College at 5:30 p.m.
