Lipinski Honored by NE10, Named to All-Rookie Team

RINDGE, N.H. (March 4, 2019) – Franklin Pierce University women's basketball freshman forward Izzy Lipinski (Farmington, Conn.) has been honored by the Northeast-10 Conference with a selection to the All-Rookie Team announced Monday afternoon by the league offices.


Lipinski a two-time NE10 Rookie of the Week appeared in 26 games for the Crimson and Grey this year including 25 starts. She led the team in rebounding (7.8), steals (1.5) and blocks per game (1.0) while also pacing the Ravens in shooting (46.2%). Lipinski came in second on the squad in scoring (12.0) and assists per game (2.1). She was one of only four players in the Northeast-10 Conference to average over 1.0 blocks and 1.0 steals per game. Her 7.8 boards per contest ranked ninth in the league.

She tallied six double-doubles including one where she scored a career and game-high 25 points on 11-of-17 (64.7%) shooting to go along with a contest-best 11 caroms – four offensive and a personal-best matching six assists against Saint Michael's on February 9th. Earlier in the year versus Le Moyne on January 12th, the newcomer gobbled up a career-high 14 rebounds. Lipinski tallied five steals in a game during a 69-63 Raven win against New Haven on January 30th. She also recorded three or more blocks three times over the course of the season and racked up double-digit points in 21-of-26 games this year.
