Lambert leads way with 21st in 1,000m
Price was one of three Ravens in action on Friday at the NEICAAA Championships.
BOSTON, Mass. (February 28, 2014) – Sophomores Alyssa Lambert (Manchester, N.H.), Monique Loney (Stamford, Conn.) and Jackie Price (Brick, N.J.) were all in action for the Franklin Pierce University women's track and field team on Friday at the NEICAAA Championships -- also known as the New England Championships -- held at Boston University Track & Tennis Center.
Lambert had the best finish of the three, as she took 21st in the 1,000 meters with a time of 3:04.37. Meanwhile, in sprint action, Loney finished 30th in the 60-meter dash with a mark of 8.21 seconds, and Price stopped the clock at 9.97 seconds to place 31st in the 60-meter hurdles.
The New England Championships continue on Saturday at BU Track & Tennis Center, and Franklin Pierce is scheduled to compete in one further event, the 4x800-meter relay.
