PROVIDENCE, R.I. (April 11, 2015) – The Franklin Pierce University Women's Track and Field team competed in the Brown Invitational hosted by Brown University. Two Ravens set their season bests and ranked them in the Northeast-10 on Saturday afternoon.
Junior Monique Loney (Stamford, Conn.) placed seventh in the 200-meter dash with her season best (26.61), which ranks her sixth in the NE-10.
Junior Danielle Koch (Coventry, Conn.) placed sixth in the 3000 meters with a time of 10:56.52.
Junior Jackie Price (Brick, N.J.) placed fifth in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.25.
Junior Alyssa Lambert (Manchester, N.H.) placed third in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 12:04.04.
Sophomore Kendra Plant (Cumberland, R.I.) placed 12th in the shot put with a distance of 10.29 meters.
Junior Nadine Hyde (Maple Valley, Wash.) placed 14th in the discus with a distance of 29.96 meters. She placed ninth in the hammer with a distance of 41.86 meters which is her season best and now ranks her fifth in the NE-10.
Sophomore Miranda Gagnon (Rollinsford, N.H.) placed sixth in the javelin with a distance of 36.50 meters.
The team returns to action on Wednesday April 15th at the Holy Cross Heptathlon.
